Rally Russia only one day away!

Rally Russia promises to be a speciticle even though its only the third time the event has run in its country. With Peugeot choosing not to run any of its top IRC drivers at the event it paves the way for Skoda, Abarth and Guy Wilks in his promising Proton. The only Peugeot entered is the 207 S2000 driven by Russian Aleksandr Zheludov.

The stages are said to be similar to Finland with long fast gravel stages up to nearly 30 km in length. Although flatter the stages suit the Finns and the last two years have seen Finns win the event.

Ralliart also take a number of entrants to the event hoping to gain some valuable championship points from the lack of Peugeots and Abarths.

The first of 15 stages starts Thursday 9th July!
